Anna Sawicka-Durkalec
was graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Animal Sciences of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. Since 2009, she works at the Department of Poultry Diseases of the National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy. Her research interests focus on diagnostics, epidemiology, pathogenicity, and antimicrobial resistance of avian mycoplasmas. Currently, she is working on the occurrence and molecular characteristics of different Mycoplasma spp. in wild birds what is also the topic of her Ph. D. thesis.
